So I cruised out with Simi and Takeshi today. The parking at the anime fest was a nightmare. I ended up poofing the car out and felt sorry for all the people who had their cars towed. The PTB really need to take into account parking and facility space. It seemed a lot more crowded this year than even last year.

But aside from that, Simi won the Raman noodle eating contest. People were extremely impressed and of course Takeshi stopped the show with his armor. Little did they know the glow was preternatural and not from fluorescent paint. Thought about calling Jaden for a peek, but decided it would be a mistake since his patience is limited at best. The last thing we need is him with Simi and that amount of temptation.

He's much more a being for more controlled environments. Although he has made noises saying he might be at San Diego Comic Con with us... that could be most interesting.

Now off to troll for Daimons.

After 11,000 years, you'd think I should know better. Then again, the cinema is only 100+ years old. So I get the call from Jaden (call being him flashing in to bug me while I troll for Daimons). He's found a double feature that has Simi all over it. Like a fool, I decided to tag along. Undead or Alive and Motorcross Zombies from Hell.

I hate to admit it, but they were entertaining as hell. What is so wrong with me that I find them hysterical? Of course it then set off a whole discussion of "I think we should try that with the gallu--remind me to call Sin later" from Jaden who wishes demons were so easy to placate. "Feed them brains, set them loose."

Which was then followed by Simi wanting to know why zombies can eat people and she can't. She even volunteered some BBQ sauce to the zombies to help with the gamey taste of brains. It was so wrong on so many levels. Jaden is simply one sick #$#!@#d.

And yes, I told him we're on for tomorrow night too. Can't wait to see what he finds. In the meantime, Sim and I are cruising an anime festival tomorrow afternoon--she's already japopped out for it.

Had a run in with Stryker tonight. Luckily Urian wasn't there. We passed a few well placed insults and hits, then parted company. I hate that my mother is left to deal with him; and with the gallu in Kalosis with her under his command, I'm actually worried. I know Matera can handle herself. But no one should have to live with such hatred, especially since she's the one who saved Stryker in the first place. Most of all, I hate that I'm what came between them. For so long they were close.

Looking back, I wonder if I shouldn't have told Kyrian the truth of the Spathi when Desiderius went after him. But how can you trust? The Dark-Hunters still don't know about Stryker really. They know nothing of me. Secrets are often a necessary evil. But I can't help wondering what it would be like to have that one person you could let inside who wouldn't go for the jugular. One person who could keep faith and stay strong.

I'm rambling. And I keep hearing Jaden in my head. Trust is for those who have nothing to lose. We have only ourselves in this life. We are the One.

Saw another weird thing today. I was heading into the local bookstore to buy the latest issue of Lords of Avalon: Sword of Darkness when I saw the paperback issue of Devil May Cry. I'm beginning to feel like I'm in a Twilight Zone episode.

Is this Kenyon woman got me on some freaky satellite spy system? I'm beginning to think she's some kind of goddess with clairvoyant powers. At any rate, I bought a copy and it's wigging me out.
